Brands and marketers are using QR codes to give the public and consumers quick access to extra content, at HMG Paints we are exactly the same.  Never shy to try new stuff we are now trialling 2 new QR codes which gives users of our products access to information they require.

 

The first is access to our most popular sales aid, the British Standards & Ral Colour Card, by scanning the QR code users can have a version of the chart on their phone or QR reading device within seconds.

 

The second QR code gives the scanner access to product Technical Data Sheets, currently they are available to download via the website and we do post some out to users, however having a QR code on the product label gives the consumer access to the products information straight away, this is a great tool if the product is on the shelf.  It will allow the consumer to find out a lot more information about the product quickly and find out wether it is relevant to his job. This will hopefully boost sales in the long term as well as educating users to the technical and health and safety features of the product.
