Business Cards are perhaps the most important personal & Corporate branding tools a person can have, millions are excahnged every year around the world in business meetings, networking events and anywhere else people meet.  The initial impression a business card can make is a vital one, getting the right balance of style v information is a vital one, however are the days of the over crowded business card over?

On Twitter ( you can follow me under the @SDX_Media handle) yesterday I was having a discussion that was prompted by Graham Smiths (@imjustcreative) new business cards, which are as plain and simple as you can get, you can see the blog post and pics here, the quick discussion between, myself, Graham, Duane Kinsey (@LogoBird) & Mark (@dohmain).  The discussion centred on what people should do with Graham's business card when they recieve them,  what info should he write on it, phone number, URL, email though with his bad handwriting would this be a negative if the reciever thought it was scruffy? Then Graham said why not just hand over the card and say "Google me."  Then the brain wave hit, why not just hand over a business card that simply instructs the user to Google you, from personal experience when I recieve a business card one of the first things I do is search for them on the internet. So why not use the inspiration of a clean business card like Grahams and simply have a search box with your name in it.  So I fired up Photoshop and came up with the below business card design and am about to order some.  What do you think of the idea.
